Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. The details of our Return policy are the same, whether you ask for a Refund or an Exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmarked and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at staff@oceanbeachesglass.com to let us know the reason for the return. If we are not able to resolve the issue, ship it back to us in the original packaging, at your expense. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
There are two ways we can handle Returns, either as Refunds or Exchanges.
Refunds
A Refund is done when we give you credit for the amount of an item you return, rather than sending a replacement item. We do not refund the initial shipping cost, and do not reimburse you for getting the item back to us. There are two ways we can apply this credit:
- Directly to your credit card, with a 10% restocking fee deducted from the total eligible credit.
- To a Store Account with us, with the full credit (i.e., no restocking fee) available for use at a later date.
Exchanges
An Exchange is when an item is returned for another item of equal or greater value. We do not refund the initial shipping cost, do not reimburse you for getting the item back to us, but do provide shipping of the replacement to you at no additional charge. We will send the replacement item as soon as the returned one is received.
Damages and issues
If damage is noted immediately up receipt, please reject the package from the courier. Otherwise, please inspect your order as soon as possible, and contact us promptly if there is any defect or damage. It helps greatly if you can send us a photo or two of the broken piece. PLEASE NOTE: shippers require that the packaging with broken items remain as intact as possible to they can inspect them if they want to - they will often deny paying claims if this has not been done. We will contact the courier immediately, and let you know what they've decided to do (which can take some time).
Warranties:
We do not offer warranties on any of our products.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
The only non-returnable items we sell on our website are the Memorial Glass pieces, if they have ashes in them. If they are not to your satisfaction, we will discuss how to resolve the issue.
