Decorate your garden, pond, or even inside your home with this beautiful blue and green glass float! Our hand blown glass balls are inspired by the Japanese floats that drifted to the Oregon coast in the 1930's and 1940's.
Though our glass floats resemble the shape of those original ones, they are more artistic, using a variety of glass color! The Sea Jewels glass float uses a variety of transparent blues and greens!
Each color used is made of glass itself and it won't fade when placed in the sun, these colors will remain unchanged!
HOW ITS MADE:
Our glass floats are all hand blown by our amazing glassblower Amanda who has over twenty years of experience! She combines clear molten glass, with frit (tiny bits of glass color) then works through the process of heating and molding the glass before blowing it!
Once the blowing is complete she breaks it off the pipe, and using a bit more clear glass to seal the hole! But don't forget, glass must cool very slowly over night or it'll crack!

Each glass piece is double boxed for extra protection! The inner box houses the piece with packing material so it won't move, and the second box is larger with a buffer of packing peanuts to deviate minor impacts to the package during shipping.
Though extremely rare, if your piece arrives broken, contact us immediately.
RETURNS:
Are accepted within 30 days of the purchase. The piece must be intact, and mailed back to us before the return will be processed.
TIME:
All floats are handblown by our glassblower Amanda, though we carry our floats in stock, some will need to be made to order, please be patient and give us one week to get your piece made and packed.
