You'll see that the types of compatible fixtures is wide-ranging. There are also many variations of these that will work - these only represent the fixtures that we keep in stock in the gallery. You should also be aware that these fixtures all have some things in common:
- they all use E26 bulbs (the common incandescant/LED/CFL size), NOT halogen bulbs
- they all use "line voltage" (110-120 volts), NOT "low voltage" systems

they all are commercially made and UL approved

the one single feature that they all (but one) have in common is that they use a medium-base socket that's threaded on the outside, along with a threaded ring that screws on to secure the shade (see photo to the right):
