This newer version of the color wrap (v2.0) still has that sweeping, blending color movement, but eliminates the opaque background color of the original. The result is a "brighter" appearance, as there's less color to block the light, but since some of the colors of the wrap will be transparent, there will be areas that allow a direct view of the bulb - a possible liability with a standard bulb, but a great opportunity for an antique one!
