A final collection from Oregon fused glass artist Farhad Nooshazar.
Each of these one-of-a-kind dichroic glass necklaces was handmade in Corvallis, Oregon by Farhad Nooshazar and his late wife.
Creating each piece was a multi-step process. Together, they selected the dichroic glass patterns and colors, fused the layers of glass, hand-cut each individual design, and carefully ground the back to create a thinner, more comfortable pendant. The pieces were then finished with a final layer of clear glass and fused once more before being assembled with their thick silver-colored chains.
Because every pendant was cut and created individually, no two are exactly alike.
Farhad is now retiring from jewelry making, which means these pieces will no longer be produced. We are fortunate to have a small collection of their remaining work available through our gallery.
